The Ethiopian Institute of Architecture, Building Construction and City Development (EiABC) of the AAU graduated 133 Architecture regular undergraduate students and 70 Construction Technology Management (CoTM) extension undergraduate students for the 6th time in the EiABC compound on Saturday March 11, 2017.
Speaking on the occasion, Scientific Director of the EiABC, Joachim Dieter noted that the institute has been significantly increasing the number of graduate students in architecture at a time when buildings and other infrastructure are highly under expansion in the country.
Extending his deep gratitude to all stakeholders behind his success, one of the graduating students, Orion Lemma said that it was a special day. He said: “we came to this point after a long journey of sleepless nights.”
42 female students were among the total number of graduates. The students graduated after 11 semesters of study in the campus.
The EiABC is part of the Engineering Education Capacity Building program entrusted with the responsibility of producing internationally competent graduates in Architecture, engineering and urban planning disciplines.
