Addis Ababa University, as part of its effort to enhance the advancement of democracy in Ethiopia will host a debate session for political parties. The session is aimed at promoting the culture of dialogue among parties of different ideology and manifest. The session will be attended by the University community, civil society representatives, political party representatives, journalists and the media. The University’s School of Journalism and Communication is the responsible unit in running the event. The political parties are expected to debate on political ideologies they espouse, and how their respective political ideology best fits the Ethiopian context.
The event is scheduled to take place on 28 February, 2015 at Eshetu Cholle Hall, College of Business and Economics Campus.
