The Department in collaboration with Ethiopian Physical society organizes annual conference in different theme.  The main beneficiaries of the conference are our PhD students.  Seminars are carried out on the regular bases by PhD students. These vary from 10 to 15 within semester. In addition, all external examiners invited to visit the Department present at least one seminar; the number of seminar by external examiner varies from 7 to 11 per year.
