Good training resources for researchers looking to develop skills that will enable them to be more effective and productive researchers are scarce and there is little space in the existing curriculum for courses or additional lectures. Training in data and computational skills is largely absent from researcher in their undergraduate and graduate programs in Ethiopia. Hence, the program staff members have been delivering a series of workshops to increase computational literacy for the researchers as community outreach.
