Brief Biography

Dr Abeba did both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Addis Ababa University in 1992 and 2001, respectively.  Her glaucoma fellowship training was at Wills Eye Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University, PA, USA in 2009.

She has been serving the Department of ophthalmology as an academic staff since 2006. She has been leading the Glaucoma unit of the Department and currently, directing glaucoma fellowship program.
