Mr. Alemayehu Desalegn Gudeta is lecturer of Optometry at department of Ophthalmology, College Health Science, and Addis Ababa University. He has experience of more than ten years now.

Mr. Alemayehu got his BSc in Optometry at College of Medicine and Health science, University of Gondar in 2008. He is one of the first batches of Optometry graduate in the history of Ethiopia.  After graduation he started working as assistance graduate at department of Optometry, University of Gondar and become Head of the department for three years. He is now a chief optometrist playing great role in the promotion of Optometry program and service in general.

He got his Masters degree in “Clinical Optometry” in July 2013, at department of Optometry, College of Medicine and Health Science, University of Gondar. He is now actively engaged in teaching Ophthalmology residents, advising them on their research project and supervises them in clinical practice.
