Graduated from Gondar college of Medical Sciences as medical doctor and Ophthalmology certificate from Addis Ababa University, Department of Ophthalmology.

Glaucoma sub- specialty training at Storm Eye Institute, Medical University of South Carolina(MUSC) in 2005.

10 publications. One glaucoma book translation to Amharic version.
