Department of Preventive Medicine

The Department is widely involved in community-based activities. It also serves as a national public health centre by producing public health specialists and by publishing the Ethiopian Journal of Health Development. The head also serves as an associate chief editor of Ethiopian Medical Journal.

Many staff members of the department are involved in advisory committees at the federal ministry of health, board members of EPHA and EMA and other stakeholders.
