Master’s in Medical Microbiology

Candidates who meet the following requirements will be admitted to the Master’s Program in Medical Microbiology, subject to other university-wide requirements:

–    Any holder of a degree in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, BSc in Biology (Science field), and Biomedical sciences from a recognized university or an institution of higher education;

–    A minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent or

–    A minimum GPA of 2.75 in the major field in the case of a holder of a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.

Master’s in Medical Parasitology

Candidates who meet the following requirements will be admitted to the Master’s Program in Medical Microbiology, subject to other university-wide requirements:

–          Any holder of a degree in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, BSc in Biology (Science field), and Biomedical sciences from a recognized university or an institution of higher education;

–          A minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent or

–          A minimum GPA of 2.75 in the major field in the case of a holder of a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.

PhD in Medical Microbiology

Candidates who meet the following requirements may be admitted to the PhD program in Medical Microbiology subject to other university-wide requirements:

–          The candidate must be a holder of a Master’s degree in Microbiology from a

Medical or Veterinary school attached to a recognized University; or

–          Any holder of a Master’s degree in biological            Sciences will be considered

but he/she will be required to do make up courses in Medical Microbiology

which he/she lacks.
