Physical Facilities

– The School of Medicine, Department of Dentistry is attached to Yekatit 12 Hospital in Sidist Kilo;

– One classroom comfortable for 25 students and a separate chair with table for each student;

– An office for the head of the School, three staff rooms for instructors and offices for the administrator and the secretaries;

– One library that can accommodate about 40 students at a time;

– One Cafeteria;

– 12 Dental Chairs (for Examination and Treatment). An extension of clinic is under construction to render services and training;

– A surgical room for minor oral surgery;

– Rooms for Orthodontics dentistry;

– Room for Prostodontics;

– Scaling/ cleaning room;

– Preclinical phantom room;

– Laboratory for Prosthodontics;

– Dental X- .ray room

– CLP unit with Apical X-ray and OPG rooms
