Announcement of Master’s and PhD Scholarships under the DAAD In-Country/In-Region
The Addis Ababa University, Department of Microbial, Cellular and Molecular Biology hereby announce a scholarship opportunity in collaboration with German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). In the following filed of studies: Applied Genetics, Applied Microbiology and Biomedical Sciences and one of the fields available at Institute of Biotechnology (IoB).
- Applicants are strongly advised to read carefully the conditions for scholarships from Information sheet; DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies, Eastern Africa for 2015/16 which is available at http://www.nm-aist.ac.tz/information_sheet.pdf
- Applicants note the following requirements:
- Research proposal (10-15 pages) and one page proposal abstract for PhD applicant
- Maximum of two pages letter of motivation(Master’s applicant)
- Scholarships Duration: a maximum of two years (Master’s) and three years (PhD).
- Female candidates and candidates from less privileged regions or groups as well as candidates with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.
