Addis Ababa University, office of community engagement, and Dean of students’ in collaboration with Addis Ababa city administration bureau of youth and voluntary mobilization, organized a half day workshop with the theme of  ‘’ volunteer for an inclusive future ‘’ on December 28/2019 at FBE hall, AAU.

The event was mainly organized for Addis Ababa University students of college of Business and Economics.

Dr. Fasil Negussie, Dean of students AAU, in his opening speech underlined that the workshop would create voluntary service awareness and conducive teaching learning environment for the students and the university community as well. Dr. Fasil in his speech added lasting to students those who are in the workshop, address his message to participate attentively.

Ato Bruk Abebe, deputy head of Youth and Voluntary Mobilization of Addis Ababa City Administration Office said “The youth in the city has been involved in many voluntary services. AAU is one of our institutions in which the youngsters are interested in working with us on voluntary service so we are here today to create awareness for you. You are young, knowledgeable and hard working. You and I can serve the community at large and bring the necessary change.”
