AAU, Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts in Tel Aviv have discussed on a possible Academic collaboration.

Addis Ababa University and Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts in Tel Aviv have discussed on working together on their mutual interests in enhancing academic programs on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Ras Mekonenn Hall.

Dr.Takele Mered, Director of Institute of Ethiopian Studies, has welcomed a delegate of forty members of  the college that involves twenty Ethiopian Jews.

Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts delegates of Academic and Administrative staff visited Addis Ababa University and exchanged issues of collaboration on September 24, 2019 at the Ras Mekonnen Hall.

Debebe Ero (PhD), Dean of College of Social Sciences, said AAU is the largest and the oldest University in Ethiopia and have over 50 thousand students in undergraduate and post graduate levels. “There are also 10 Research Institutes and 10 Colleges. So, we have a potential to collaborate with you” he added.

According to Debebe, the major areas of Cooperation that are believed to be important include: the advancement of college faculties, promotion of student skills and research and upgrading academic and administrative tasks. He said delegates from both institutes discussed on possible collaborations in different spheres of educational improvement.
